Suha's POV
Almost two hours later everyone is back with a long face.
"We couldn't find anything." Staff says.
"Mom, dad! It's not in our rooms!" I say.
"Bhaiya bhabhi sorry but nothing is their in our room , also I checked with mom nothing is their as well." Chachi says
"We said it before only." Chotti daadi says while smirking.
Something about that smirk doesn't feel right. She always looks out for moments when she can look down on us.
"What will we do now?" I ask everyone around us.
"We will discuss this in the morning. Everyone, please head over your room and sleep. Let's figure this out in the morning." Mom says to everyone while looking at dad.
"You could have discussed this in morning itself why you bothered our sleep?" Rudrani daadi says to mom.
Sometimes I get irritated with her.
Everybody heads towards their room.
"Daddu and daadi shall I come with you guys till your room?" I ask daddu and daadi while going towards them.
"Yes beta! Let's go! It's been a long day." They say to me.
After dropping them in their room and making them comfortable, I think of checking on mom and dad before heading towards my room.
After reaching their room, I can hear them. They are having an arguement. I knock and enter the room.
"Mom? Dad? All okay?" They stop abruptly after seeing me.
"What are you doing here?" Mom asks me.
I thought of checking on you guys before heading to my room. I say while scratching my temple.
"We are okay beta! Go sleep! It's too late now." Dad says to me.
"Is there is something I should know? Who is Netra?" I say to mom n dad while questioning them.
"How do you know this name? Where you heard it?" Mom and dad shocking questions me.
"Sorry guys! I heard you guys a bit." I say sheepishly to them.
"It's so wrong Suha! You shouldn't have done that!" Dad is on the verge of getting angry with me , I can sense it.
"Please tell me who is she." I say to them ignoring what dad was saying.
"No we are not telling her anything Vidhya let her go and sleep." Dad says to mom.
"Mom please." I plead to mom.
"Okay! Sit I will tell you." Mom says to me.
"Goddammit it! Doesn't my word hold any value." Dad says sighing.
"You are overreacting!" Mom and I say at the same time to him.
"I am done for the day and sits beside me." Dad says while side hugging me. I keep my head on his shoulder.
"Tell now mom!" I say to mom urging her to speak.
"Well she is a woman who gets visions. She is psychic. You can say she is clairvoyant." Mom explains to me.
"What? Such people really exist? Oh my god! I am excited, I want to know more about this. Please tell me more." I say excitedly to mom.
"Don't get too excited! This is sufficient now go back to your room and sleep." Dad says to me giving side eye.
"Dad please." I say while giving him puppy eyes.
"I am thinking take her help in finding the watch." Mom says to me.
"She can help us? What's the problem then?" I ask both of them.
"I don't want to involve outsiders." Dad says.
"But dad we tried right? Since we can't find it what's the harm in taking the help?" I say to dad.
"You have a point but still..." Dad says.
"I am with you mom. Please talk to Netra." "Maybe she can help us." I say to mom reassuringly.
"Yes I am going to call her in the morning". Mom says to both of us.
"Can you tell me more about her mom?" I ask.
"Some other time chatterbox now go and sleep." Dad says to me.
"Aye aye captain! Good night mom n dad!" I say to both of them while hugging them and giving them a peck on cheeks.
I am lying down in my room after changing the dress and removing my make up. I am looking through pictures of today's evening. We had such a blast. Everything was soo good. Food , music , cake and gifts. Had the watch not been stolen, it would have been perfect. Let's hope tomorrow we can sort this mess up. After scrolling through my phone for half an hour or so. I stretch and take a big yawn. Time to sleep people. But the moment I close my eyes , all I see is a pair of grey eyes. I never knew Naren uncle has such a handsome son. I am shocked. We have a new crush girlie pops. He is tall, dark , strong and handsome. We need to give him a nickname. But he has such a beautiful name Aritra. Let's not give him a nickname. We will meet soon Mr. Aritra!
Aritra's POV
As soon as we stepped out of the party , mom asked me, "You're coming with us, right?"
"Ummm..I was wondering if I could you join you guys tomorrow over lunch?" I say to them while rubbing the back of my neck.
"Not happening! You're coming with us. Just because you have your own place doesn't mean that you will break our weekend sleepover deal." Dadi said to me with a huff.
"Okay! Okay! Let me bring the car around. Let's head home and dadi you come with me." I say to mom and dad while taking dadi along with me.
After settling into the car, we head home, the drive is just 15-20 minutes away.
"The party was really good, isn't Aro?" Dadi asks me smiling.
"Your daada would have loved it!" Dadi says while sighing.
"And Suhasini! My my! She looked absolutely angelic!' She says with dreamy eyes.
"You are right! The party was good but I don't remember meeting Suhasini!" I say to her while driving with an expressionless face.
"Right! She was very young when you left for the hostel. I guess she also doesn't remember you." Daadi tells me while recollecting the childhood memories.
"You guys used to play a lot together." Daadi says.
"You should go and meet her sometime, why just her why you don't meet all the kids ?" Daadi suggests me.
"Daadi! You know how jam packed my schedule is with work and on weekends something or other plan comes up. But if you are insisting I will meet them." I say to daadi giving her a smile and peck on her right temple.
"That's like my Aro!" Dadi says while giving me a toothed smile.
"Also do you know the songs in the skit , the background music and the whole overall skit was done and prepared by Suha!" Daadi tells me proudly.
I was a bit shocked.
"She is quite talented! It was good!" I tell her.
"You know, she is quite famous on social media too!" Daadi tells me
"Oh! Is it?" I ask while parking the car in parking lot.
"Yes! Yes!" Dadi says while unlocking the belt.
"Let's head in daadi we are home." I say her w
hile opening the car door.
She gives me a pat on my cheek and head in.
