Aritra's POV
"You guys are here! We also just reached!" Mom says to us.
"Let's everyone freshen up and catch up with our week long adventures with laal chai." Dad says to everyone of us.
"Bhalo! Bhalo!" Daadi says excitedly.
"See you guys soon!" I say while heading towards my floor.
Yes I have floor to myself. Daadi, mom and dad stay on the ground floor. On first floor we have a big hall for get togethers or parties. Second floor is mine. And then we have terrace. Mom has created a very beautiful terrace garden. We have garden outside our home too. Mom and dad they both love it. They nurture the plants like their baby. They always tell me they are our babies after you. I smile remembering that while entering the lift of our home.
Time skip
After taking a quick shower, I heads towards my daadi's room.
"There you are!" Daadi says by looking at me.
Come! Let's have tea. Mom says to me.
"How much I miss this." I say to mom by taking a sip.
"How are you all? How was your guys week?" I ask them while looking at all of them.
"Well I had few surgeries this week so it was hectic." Dad tells me.
He is cardiologist. A very renowned one.
He doesn't have any spiritual or supernatural beliefs. He justs believe in science, pure science.
"School is hectic too since half yearly exams are coming up and then we have puja break." Mom tells me.
"She is an English teacher in a very renowned school. She is a highly intuitive woman, but she expresses very less.
"I just did some meet ups with my friends and discussed what we will be doing this year at Durga Puja." Daadi tells me.
"The Durga Puja theme and pandal setup is finalized, isn't it?" Dad asks daadi.
"Yes Naren! We were just discussing about color themes and some fun games during the puja and was making a plan for pandal hopping." Daadi says excitedly.
"Maa! Aren't you planning too much? You will get tired and ill?" Mom questions daadi.
"You guys are overreacting! Nothing will happen to me. You know na how much I love puja days." Daadi says dreamily.
"We will figure something out daadi!" I say looking at mom n dad while giving a side hug to daadi.
"You tell us how was your week Aro?" Daadi asks me.
"It was very hectic daadi. When I hear those people out. I feel so sad and helpless. After listening to them, I feel how much blessed life we have. But it also makes me realise how much the society pretends to be chill and open and liberal but actually they are not.
They're still deeply rooted in traditional thinking. They desperately want to appear liberal and modern, but in reality, they're confused and end up creating even more problems." I say to them while sighing.
"So much can be avoided but alas nobody gives a damn!" I say whole looking at them.
"It's okay beta we can't change everyone." Mom says while giving me a sad smile.
Everyone is going in deep thinking after what I said. I can sense it. I need to do something to change the vibe.
"Well! I was thinking that tomorrow I should go to to Raghu's daddu place. I say while clearing my throat. You guys want to join?" I ask all three of them.
"When are you going tomorrow? We had some plans." Mom says while looking at dad.
"Why I am feeling that includes me?" I questions mom n dad.
Something is fishy I can sense it.
"Well it does! Free by evening some guests are coming over." Mom says to me sheepishly.
"Who're coming over?" I ask them.
"We will tell you later on, else you will back out." Daadi says to me.
No, you guys are telling me now. I say to all of them.
"Dad! Come on atleast you tell me." I say to dad giving him my hopeful eyes.
"Alright! Alright! A girl's family is coming over to meet you." Dad says while looking at mom and daadi.
"Why did you say? What was the need? He will flip out now." Mom and Daadi says simultaneously.
"You mean an arrange marriage setup? Are you serious? What's the hurry? I am just 30 not 40!" I say flabbergasted.
"Exactly you are 30! We need to start seeing the potential proposals." Mom says to me while looking at dadi and dad.
"No! I don't want that. You guys know it. Then also? Please listen to me clearly first I don't want to get married. Second even if I do get married someday, it will be a love marriage." I say determined voice.
"What will I say to them?" Mom says.
I" don't know! I am going now. Byee good night everyone!" I say to everyone and giving them all a hug.
"Good night aro!"
As I am existing the room, a message pops ups in my psychic group.
I heads towards the lift while reading it.
Aritra's Mom Pov(Nayani)
"How shouldn't have said it, Naren." I say angrily to him.
We are in our room and I say to him while doing my night care routine.
I am obsessed with skin and hair care routines.
"It's okay. We will figure out something. Give him something priyo." He told me while giving me a peck on my forehead.
"Now let's sleep, I am exhausted for the day."
"Let's go!" I say while sighing a giving him a hug.
Good night we both said simultaneously.
Aritra's PoV
While entering the room , I answer the group call.
"Wassup guys?" I ask them.
"We have a emergency Aro!" Paul and Kamakshi tells me urgently.
"What emergency?" I ask them while switching on the lights and fan of the room.
"A young girl is very much in trouble , she is unable to sleep and continuously trying to self harm herself." Paul explains me.
"Damn! I thought we were good for today.
Have you given any instructions to her parents?" I ask them typing my watch collecting my bag which has all my needs equipments.
"Yes we told them to take her to nearby temple. We are reaching soon." Kamakshi tells me.
"Great! Paul, start looking in the past events of that place." I tell him while leaving the room.
"Send me the location on WhatsApp. I am reaching there." I tell them while entering the lift.
"Where are you going at this hour?" Daadi asks me anxiously.
"Not now daadi! I am in a hurry. I will tell you everything. Trust me." I tell her
while rushing towards my car.
"Be safe!" Daadi shouts back at me.
